Authentic Soviet/Russian military light truck UAZ 469.

This is a true Commander version. It has geared axles and the clearance is 300mm (12 in). These are much much more harder to acquire than the regular civilian version which has only 220mm (8.7 in) clearance...

I will not bore you with quotes from the internet. If you don't already know and are interested, just google UAZ 469 and you will find a wealth of information about this legendary vehicle.

This truck comes as shown. The trailer is included. This is a real 1989 UAZ utility trailer. I strongly suspect that this is the only one USA.

Selling as is with no warranty of any sort. If you want to own one of these, you better be a handy man or have good amount of monetary resources to afford all aspects of ownership of this very rare (in the USA) truck. However, if you are familiar with, or ever worked on the US made WW2 era trucks, you will see a lot of similarities.

Along with the truck and the trailer I will hand over a wealth of spare parts and related literature. Here is small list of parts I remember off top of my head that comes along:

-- a carburetor

-- pistons

-- break cylinder

-- a spare (black, civilian) tent

-- a fuel pump shaft

-- 2nd gear

-- a distributor (standard, non-shielded)

-- a bunch of other stuff

Of course the truck comes with windows. If you look at the picture of the trailer, you will see that they are sitting in it, along with a very nice military radio antenna. This truck was a Commander Radio unit. If I were to leave the radio equipment on it, importing to the USA would become a problem. So, the Radio was removed, but the antenna was left in the truck.

Two very very rare options are installed on this truck.

1. A pre-start heater system

2. A shielded starter and magneto electrical system.

The heater system would help you to start it in a very cold winter condition, and the shielded starter and magneto wiring harness supposed to protect the electrical against the water shorts and supposedly the lighter effects of an EMP.

Over all, IMHO, this is the best looking UAZ and the most authentic Commander UAZ-469 in the USA, especially considering the trailer add-on.
